Licensed Clinician/Primary Therapist

Come join our energetic and outgoing professional team at the Mountain Valley Treatment Center, located in Haverhill / Pike, NH. Mountain Valley Treatment Center is a non-profit, specialized short-term residential and assessment program for adolescents struggling with debilitating OCD, anxiety and related disorders. We are looking for a Full Time Licensed Clinician to provide individual, group and family therapy with an emphasis in CBT based Exposure Response Prevention, DBT and Family Systems.  A private pay, parent-choice residential program, Mountain Valley offers a relaxed yet professional environment in the beautiful White Mountains Region of NH. We are looking for high-energy individuals who can support our diverse and interesting adolescent population from around the globe within a clinically intense and holistic program environment.  Daily activities include equine therapy, therapeutic recreation, yoga, gardening, farm to table, art therapy, and community service.  Clinical programming includes multiple thematic groups per week, Exposure Response Prevention groups, individual and family therapy, parent and referral source communication.

Qualifications:              

Must have a Master’s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field. A current clinical license and experience working with adolescent anxiety clients is preferred. Excellent written and oral communications skills and a customer-centered, team member work style. Background and applicable pre-employment checks will be conducted.

Residential Counselor/Experiential Education Module Leader

Mountain Valley Treatment Center is a non-profit, specialized short-term residential and assessment program for adolescents struggling with debilitating OCD, anxiety and related disorders.  We are looking for Full Time Residential Counselors (multiple positions) to be a part of our Residential and Experiential Education team.  A private pay, parent-choice residential program, Mountain Valley offers a relaxed yet professional environment in the beautiful White Mountains Region of NH. We are looking for high-energy individuals who can support our diverse and interesting adolescent population from around the globe with experiential, holistic programming such as:  equine therapy, outdoor recreation, yoga, gardening, farm to table activities, art, and community service.  Responsibilities also include providing support to the clinical staff with the implementation of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy assignments and group therapy.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, therapeutic recreation, education or related field; or seven years of parenting experience or demonstrated experience working with adolescents.  Excellent professional boundaries and a customer-centered, team member work style.

Overnight Residential Counselor

Mountain Valley Treatment Center is a specialized, intentionally small, short-term residential treatment center for co-ed adolescents who have debilitating OCD, anxiety and related disorders.

Our client population typically presents with school avoidance, socially isolating behaviors and has withdrawn from the family. We provide a holistic approach to treatment with an evidenced based foundation using Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy and a unique blend of experiential modules including mindfulness, farm to table, adventure, community service, academics and fitness.

We are looking for professional and caring individuals who can stay awake and maintain a safe and supportive environment throughout the overnight hours in the residential dormitories.  Responsibilities also include supporting residents with their morning and evening routines, medication administration, maintaining dorm cleanliness, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.  Additionally, preparing the breakfast meal per the approved menu and coordinating a smooth transition with the day staff each morning and evening is required.  Overnight Residential Counselors will enjoy learning and collaborating with the rest of our highly skilled and dynamic residential and clinical teams. This is a great opportunity to grow and gain valuable training within the human services field.  Professional development opportunities are provided and stepped compensation based on performance and training completed.

Weekend Chef

Come join our energetic and outgoing professional team at the Mountain Valley Treatment Center, located in Haverhill / Pike, NH. Mountain Valley Treatment Center is a non-profit, specialized short-term residential and assessment program for adolescents struggling with debilitating OCD, anxiety and related disorders. We are looking for a Part-Time Weekend Chef to work 20 hours per week. A private pay, parent-choice residential program, Mountain Valley offers a relaxed yet professional environment in the beautiful White Mountains Region of NH. We are looking for an energetic person, who is experienced in cooking and working with adolescents. The Weekend Chef is responsible for preparation and service of the evening meal. The weekend chef is also responsible for a rotation of deep cleaning tasks each week.

Qualifications :

Position requires the ability to work with raw foods from our farm to table program. Must be experienced in scratch cooking, or willing to learn. Must be Serve Safe Certified, or willing to gain. Excellent professional boundaries and a customer-centered, team member work style.
