Employment Opportunities

Employment at Mountain Valley Treatment Center is not just a job.  It can be a vocation for those who seek challenge, commitment, a sense of community – and the opportunity to work with bright and talented, albeit anxious, adolescents in an environment that is both supportive and challenging.  Because we are a fully residential program and a licensed child care facility, much is required of our staff.  In return, MVTC strives to provide competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Mountain Valley seeks to attract, retain, and support a diverse and talented workforce and invites applications for the position(s) posted below.

Due to our growth, Mountain Valley Treatment Center seeks two additional licensed clinicians to join our exceptional clinical team at both our original Pike, NH campus and beautiful new campus in Plainfield, NH.  Mountain Valley, a residential treatment program, serves male and female adolescents and emerging adults, 13 to 20 years old, from across the globe with debilitating anxiety and OCD.  Our newest campus, located near Hanover, NH and Dartmouth College, and the original iconic New England site, near the White Mountains and Connecticut River, provide a unique yet client-centered treatment environment.

Mountain Valley adds clinically intensive CBT and ERP along with a comprehensive activity therapy program and mindfulness-based milieu.  Our program was recently featured in the October 15, 2017 New York Times Magazine, as well as other local and national media venues because of the great work we do.

Mountain Valley clinicians manage a caseload of three to five private pay residents over their 90-day treatment stay providing individual, group, and family therapy.  Developing treatment plans with their clients, creating an exposure therapy list (hierarchy) and supporting exposures in local communities, is what sets Mountain Valley apart from more institutionalized settings and offers a rewarding professional work experience.
