Kerry Beck, M.S.W.

Program Director/Therapist – Plainfield Campus

A talented and diversely trained clinician and senior administrator, Kerry joins the Mountain Valley leadership team with many years of experience working in adolescent residential treatment. After graduating from Florida State University with his Masters in Social Work, Kerry started his career in 1994 working as a residential counselor with a multi-services, community based family support continuum for at-risk youth in New Hampshire. Over the next fourteen years, Kerry served that agency, Becket Family of Services, in many capacities, including clinician, clinical director and Executive Director of Becket School and Mount Prospect Academy.  In 2008, he returned to his native Ohio with his wife, MaryBeth, to raise their three children, Mara, Miriam and Denver and continue his career as a therapist and lead administrator working primarily with adolescents. In 2016, Kerry returned to New Hampshire to preside over Becket Academy, Inc..

In November of 2017, Kerry was recruited to help bring Mountain Valley’s new Plainfield, NH campus to fruition.  In addition to spearheading Plainfield’s licensing process and the hiring of staff, Kerry serves as Plainfield’s Program Director and is a member of the Clinical Team.

In his free time, Kerry enjoys attending local sporting events, hiking, snowshoeing, camping and mountain biking in Vermont and New Hampshire.  Finally, as a reminder to periodically start running again, he also (mostly) enjoys training and participating in an annual half marathon.
