Lydia Wood

Residential Counselor

Lydia is a graduate of Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, GA where she completed a Bachelors of Sociology with a concentration in medicine.  She has an extensive background working as a teacher, coach and mentor with children of all ages.  She was especially interested in working at Mountain Valley as it allows her to be active while helping good kids.

Outside of work, Lydia enjoys working out, playing rugby and being outdoors in her native Vermont.  She has a German Shepherd named Vito – and a little known fact about Lydia is that she has played semi-pro rugby (she says for only 12 minutes in one game….but still, that makes her a professional athlete!).
