Seoka Salstrom, Ph.D.

Consulting Psychologist

Dr. Salstrom is a licensed clinical psychologist and owner of the Hanover Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, P.C. in Hanover, NH. She specializes in mindfulness and acceptance-based CBTs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), for the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders across the lifespan. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2006 from The University of Georgia and completed an internship at Durham VA Medical Center where she received specialized training in CBT for sleep disorders and PTSD. A post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics provided training in the CBTs for anxiety among those with severe medical illnesses. She then served as clinical coordinator of the Anxiety and OCD Treatment and Research Program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFUMS) and practiced at the Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center until co-founding the Chicago CBT Center in 2010. She maintained adjunct faculty positions at RFUMS and the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine while co-directing the Chicago CBT Center until 2015. Dr. Salstrom is a board member of the International OCD Foundation local affiliate, OCD New Hampshire.

As a clinical consultant to MVTC, Dr. Salstrom provides external supervision and training in third-wave behavioral therapies, including ACT. During her free time, Dr. Salstrom enjoys hiking and skiing locally as well as in Norway and on other European mountains.
