About Eric
After a year’s hiatus from the field for personal reflection Eric began looking for a place where he could put his education and desire to help others pursue their best self into practice. Mountain Valley provides an ideal atmosphere mixing sustainable practices like farming that promote self-sufficiency and achievement as well as a compassionate staff that stands alongside their residents rather than carrying them through. The concept of a therapeutic environment that encourages individuals to experience the stress of their symptomology and practice ways through it was highly appealing, both in terms of an opportunity to learn more about the field himself and contribute the skills he has acquired over the last 10 years to.
Eric completed his undergrad with Keene State College in 2015 while working with a before after care program for kids aged 4- 13. From there he went on to work in behavior classrooms, placement facilities and schools as well as time spent working as a Case Manager all while working on his master’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University. He completed his master’s program in 2018 and has been working in the field for the majority of the last decade.
Eric is from a little town called Walpole, NH that is the historical remnant of an old logging community. He enjoys woodworking, Hide Tanning, and general tinkering in his free time among a myriad of other activities. Eric’s favorite saying is. “Don’t ask questions, find answers. “
