Lauren, a Mainer, centers her life around a love of challenge and the outdoors. She first joined Mountain Valley in June of 2015 after graduating from Plymouth State University. Lauren helped to design and facilitate the Adventure and Fitness modules while working with clinicians to bring ERP work into the residential milieu.
Lauren moved to North Carolina in the Fall of 2017 to pursue work with Veritas Collaborative, an inpatient program for children and adolescents with eating disorders. After returning to the northeast in 2019, she joined the team at the Upper Valley Stewardship Center in Pike where she facilitated adventure programming and co-led wilderness expeditions. Most recently, Lauren held a dorm parent and teaching position at The Oliverian School. As of 2021, she has returned to Mountain Valley eager to reinvigorate our adventure and stewardship programming!
In her free time, Lauren enjoys caving, paddling, climbing and skiing.
