Megan graduated from Charleston Southern University with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Public Health. She competed for three years as a student-athlete and also spent one year assistant coaching. During this time, she gained a multitude of knowledge about coaching, motivational strategies, and sport psychology. Megan’s passions include health, fitness and overall wellness. She hopes to one day implement health education and resource programs in underfunded schools. Megan began her work at Mountain Valley as an awake overnight residential counselor before making the transition to the second shift. In her current role, she is able to implement programming using her passion for physical education as the leader of MVTC’s adventure program.
