About Rachel
A graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Argosy University where she earned her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, Rachel comes to Mountain Valley after practicing mental health counseling in Florida and Vermont. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and has completed the International OCD Foundation’s Pediatric Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) as well as the Advanced Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) . With training in trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rapid Resolution Therapy, she is well-skilled in individual, group and family psychotherapy and is adept at assessing the strengths, challenges and needs of her clients and their families. Rachel takes great pride in serving as an advocate for the rights and needs of the Mountain Valley families with whom she works and assisting them with the development of natural support systems.
Rachel lives in nearby Cornish, NH with her husband, Ryan, their daughter, Freya – and dog, Luna! Rachel enjoys playing piano, reading and hiking.
