Rebecca has worked with adolescents for 25 years as a counselor, teacher, and therapist. She earned her undergraduate degree at Princeton University and her first master’s degree in Education at Columbia University Teachers College. Originally from New Jersey, Rebecca first worked in Westchester County, New York before moving to Vermont where she lived and worked for twenty years while raising three sons. Rebecca returned to New York City to earn a second master’s degree at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. She also completed advanced training in grief therapy and applied behavioral analysis. She has worked in juvenile and family crisis intervention and with families with children with developmental and learning disabilities. Rebecca’s centering and mindfulness practices include gardening and landscaping, hiking and snowshoeing, cooking, circuit training, and yoga.
