About Everett
Everett’s entire career has been spent supporting adolescents and emerging adults in one fashion or another. Everett began his career as a teacher, coach, and dorm parent in boarding school which gave him the opportunity to see first-hand the profound effect that the residential education model can have on young people. After moving into school leadership positions, Everett shifted his career focus and moved in school counseling. Everett has spent the past fourteen years directly supporting young people as a consultant, mentor, coach, case manager, family worker, and director of two different residential programs prior to coming to Mountain Valley where he has served as Program Director, Admissions Director, Associate Executive Director, and Executive Director before being appointed the current Chief of Operations and Enrollment Management. Everett lives in Vermont where he enjoys exploring the outdoors, cooking, photography, travel, and spending time with his three young adult children.
