A pre-admission consultation will be conducted over the phone by one of our admissions team members. If Mountain Valley seems to be a potentially appropriate treatment option for the individual, the family will be encouraged to complete the online application. Next, a more comprehensive meeting or call will occur with the applicant so that more detailed information can be gathered to ensure Mountain Valley is the most appropriate setting. This meeting can be conducted at our Plainfield, New Hampshire campus or via secure video conferencing.
A multidisciplinary admissions committee reviews any prospective resident’s needs to ensure that Mountain Valley is the appropriate treatment option for the individual. The admissions process also involves reviewing any current neuropsychological evaluations and educational assessments, as well as conferring with any members of the applicant’s home support team.
