Employment Opportunities

Employment at Mountain Valley Treatment Center is not just a job – it is a vocation for those who seek challenge, commitment, a sense of community and the opportunity to work with bright, talented, albeit anxious, adolescents in an environment that is both supportive and challenging. Because we are a fully residential program and a licensed child care facility, much is required of our staff. In return, MVTC strives to provide competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Mountain Valley seeks to attract, retain, and support a diverse and talented workforce and invites applications for the position(s) posted below.

Overnight Residential Counselor

Mountain Valley Treatment Center is a specialized, intentionally small, short-term residential treatment center for adolescents who have debilitating OCD, anxiety and related disorders.

Our client population typically presents with school avoidance, socially isolating behaviors and has withdrawn from the family. We provide a holistic approach to treatment with an evidenced based foundation using Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy and a unique blend of experiential modules including mindfulness, farm to table, adventure, community service, academics and fitness.

We are looking for professional and caring individuals who can stay awake and maintain a safe and supportive environment throughout the overnight hours in the residential dormitories. Responsibilities also include supporting residents with their morning and evening routines, medication administration, maintaining dorm cleanliness, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Additionally, preparing the breakfast meal per the approved menu and coordinating a smooth transition with the day staff each morning and evening is required. Overnight Residential Counselors will enjoy learning and collaborating with the rest of our highly skilled and dynamic residential and clinical teams. This is a great opportunity to grow and gain valuable training within the human services field. Professional development opportunities are provided and stepped compensation based on performance and training completed.
