Our Mission
Our mission is to equip young people with the courage and skill to transcend anxiety and reengage the world, each other, and life with confidence and passion.

Our Purpose
Our purpose is to help young people with anxiety and related disorders do more than just cope—we believe that they can heal and thrive, eventually harnessing their struggles as strengths and as powerful opportunities for growth. Through a combination of evidence-based therapies, we challenge each resident to confront their anxiety on a daily basis through a gradual and compassionate process that corresponds to their current level of functioning.
“It’s been more than a year since graduating from MVTC, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I want to go to school, and meet new people. I feel confident in myself. They changed my life forever.”

Our Goal
Our goal is not to make our residents fearless. Instead, it’s to make their fear less—less controlling, less limiting, and less scary. In its proper place, anxiety—aka fear—can function as a sort of super power, animating us and making us safer, more compassionate, smarter, better. That kind of healing and empowerment is our goal for every resident.
