Located near Dartmouth College in New Hampshire’s Upper Valley, Mountain Valley is a not-for-profit, short-term, residential treatment program for adolescents and emerging adults of all genders, ages 13 to 20. Mountain Valley specializes in evidence-based treatment for those struggling with anxiety and related disorders. Mountain Valley’s acclaimed clinical model utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Mountain Valley operates from a values-based approach in terms of our treatment of our clients. Clinicians help support residents in living a life in harmony with their value systems.

Primary clinicians are the main clinical care givers in our program. This is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people. If you are looking to work in a supportive, caring environment as part of a team that provides direct care for young people struggling with anxiety, this is a job like no other.

Clinicians provide clinical services to a caseload of 3–5 residents during a 90-day stay. Clinical duties include: providing individual, family, and group therapy; developing and revising treatment plans; coordinating care within the program, communicating with external provides, collateral, contacts; and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Masters degree required. Experience providing CBT and ERP for anxiety disorders preferred. Licensed clinician preferred but not required. Passion for working with adolescents and young adults required. Experience working with adolescents and young adults preferred.
