About Ashley
Originally from the Berkshires in Massachusetts, Ashley joined Mountain Valley in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a concentration in child development from Worcester State University. Throughout the years, Ashley has worked at Mountain Valley in various capacities, including as a Residential Counselor and Residential Supervisor. Through this time, Ashley found developed and strengthened her leadership and clinical skills, ultimately finding her passion for working in the mental health field. In 2021, Ashley obtained master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at New England College, leading to her role as Program Director at Mountain Valley. Ashley’s experience with Mountain Valley, including her educational, leadership, personal, and professional development, demonstrates her dedication to the program and passion for the mental health field. After some time as Program Director, Ashley made the decision to resume working towards her ultimate goal as a licensed clinical mental health counselor. As a clinician at Mountain Valley, Ashley contributes to her values of challenge, compassion, and growth as she fosters meaningful relationships with adolescent youth while guiding them through overcoming their mental health challenges.
Outside of work, Ashley spends her free time listening to and attending live music events, and kayaking, fishing, and hiking with her husband and beloved red heeler, Isaac.
