Becca brings a strong background in behavioral health to her work at Mountain Valley. Prior to joining the team, she worked in a residential treatment setting with adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. She also has experience working with children with special needs, providing individualized care and home-based therapeutic support.

Becca is particularly passionate about working with adolescents during a critical period of their development, when they have the opportunity to build skills, develop confidence, and establish healthy patterns that can serve them throughout their lives. She was drawn to Mountain Valley’s emphasis on experiential learning and the opportunity to help young people grow through hands-on experiences, exploration, and learning from both successes and setbacks. Becca has a particular interest in occupational therapy and hopes to eventually specialize in pediatric sensory integration.

One of the things Becca appreciates most about Mountain Valley is the strong sense of community among residents. She has been especially impressed by the ways residents support and encourage one another, both in their treatment and in everyday life, and the meaningful connections they develop with their peers.

Originally from New Hampshire, Becca now calls Vermont home. Outside of work, she enjoys walking trails and kayaking with her 13-year-old dog, Peanut Butter.
