Shawn has worked for over 30 years in healthcare. His primary focus has been Facilities Management. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Keene State College in 1990. Since then, he has taken many courses in Safety from the Safety Council of NH and Project Management from Villanova University. He is also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist.
As a resident of Plainfield NH, Shawn grew up not far from the Mountain Valley property and feels like he has a connection to the campus. He is particularly fond of the wildlife that visits the property often. Shawn enjoys the diversity of the position, focusing on ways to be fiscally responsible, sharing his experiences in management as well as keeping the Mountain Valley community safe and campus beautiful.
Shawn enjoys the outdoors, sports, and spending time with his family. He also enjoys youth coaching. Prior to his daughter and son being born he spent several years as a youth bowling coach and more recently coaching both kids’ hockey programs at Twin Valley Hockey Association. His hobbies include: woodworking, bowling, photography, boating on Lake Sunapee and maple sugaring.
