Josh worked with youth as a residential counselor in the past and really enjoyed the experience. Mountain Valley is a wonderful program with a strong mission. Josh fell in love with the Gallup House and the beauty of the whole campus. Josh is happy to be a part of the team and to have the opportunity to support the residents in their journeys.
Josh grew up in Rutland, VT and moved to Windsor, VT in 2005. As a survivor of spindle cell sarcoma, Josh takes each day as a gift and does his best to enjoy all of the simple things in life. He’s a kid at heart, who loves to laugh and enjoys making those laugh around him. Josh is married and a loving father to his two sons and daughter. He also has two Shih Tzu’s named Wilson and Marco, and a chocolate lab named Ortiz (after the baseball player, David Ortiz).
In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, attending concerts, photography, enjoying good food, drinking coffee, and is also learning to play a couple of instruments. Josh recently purchased an acoustic electric guitar as well as a Nord Stage 3 Compact Professional Keyboard. Josh also enjoys summer drives to the beach in Maine and seafood. HE is a fan of the Red Sox, Celtic, New York Giants, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. A fun fact he likes to share is that he just went and saw Toto in concert in Rutland and wa about 15 feet from the stage!
