A born and raised New Yorker, Tess began her career in Education at The Washington Market school in New York City. As a pre-school teacher, she drew inspiration from both Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia to create a safe, supportive, and child-centered environment to nurture her students’ natural development and love of learning. Following her time as an educator, Tess dove into the Fashion Industry and spent over a decade as an administrative professional supporting some of the world’s most talented designers and C-Suite Executives such as Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Peter Som. Tess and her family recently made the move from New York to Vermont, where she’s re-dedicated herself to her love for horseback riding and all things outdoorsy! She is thrilled to be joining the team at Mountain Valley as the Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator.
